This product adopts an integrated forging structure with a uniformly thickened widened circular flange plate at the bottom without welding splicing, eliminating fracture risks under force. Its flat bottom surface fully fits trays and plates to avoid local stress concentration. The hexagonal cylinder is thickened and heightened compared with conventional flange nuts to extend thread engagement length and greatly boost overall load capacity. The internal through full-thread hole is formed by thread rolling with complete and wear-resistant thread profile, compatible with long-stroke tension adjustment. Smooth chamfers are processed on hexagonal outer corners and flange transition positions to prevent scratches on tools and operators, as well as eliminate stress sharp corners to avoid cracking under load. The overall metal matrix is dense without sand holes, pores or cracks, with uniform metallographic structure after heat treatment, offering stable tensile and fatigue resistance to withstand alternating tension loads long-term.
What is the difference between this tension nut and ordinary flange nuts?
Ordinary flange nuts are designed for static locking with thin body wall and short thread engagement section. Our tension nut is a thickened special model for tension working conditions with heightened hexagonal body and extended threads optimized for continuous tensile force. Its tensile strength and anti-slip thread capacity are increased by over 50%, specially matching anchor bolts and prestressing screw rods for tension projects.
How is the anti-rust performance of black oxide finish? Can it be used in humid outdoor environments?
Black oxide is a basic anti-rust treatment that resists daily mild water vapor and dust. For long-term open-air, high-humidity mine or coastal high-salt environments, customized hot-dip galvanized or Dacromet surface treatment versions are available with greatly upgraded anti-rust performance.
Can it match finished rolled thread bars with non-standard diameters?
Non-standard customization is supported. We can process internal threads according to the thread specifications of customer screw rods and anchor bolts, and develop new molds for special thread pitches and special-shaped threads.
What is the maximum tensile load during tension construction?
The tensile capacity depends on the specification and strength grade. The rated tension load of M20 Class 10.9 tension nut reaches 180kN, and customized Class 12.9 high-strength models deliver higher bearing capacity. Corresponding mechanical test reports can be provided.
