Precision rolled coupler, also called rebar connecting sleeve, is dedicated matching connector for prestressed fine rolled rebar. Made of integrated forged alloy steel with heat treatment, it features high tensile resistance and easy installation without welding. Widely used in bridges, tunnels, slope support and all kinds of large infrastructure projects to realize equal-strength connection of prestressed rebars. Full standard sizes in stock, customized specifications and anti-corrosion treatments are available.
The finished rolled coupler, also known as precision rolled connecting sleeve or rebar connector, is a high-strength anchoring connector specially matched with precision rolled rebar. It is integrally forged from high-quality 45# alloy steel and processed through precision turning and quenching & tempering heat treatment. Standard precision rolled threads are machined on the inner wall to quickly connect two pieces of precision rolled rebar. No welding or pre-threading is required; equal-strength connection of rebars is realized via thread engagement. Widely applied in prestressed bridges, tunnels, slope support, large-scale infrastructure and other projects, it serves as the core matching component for rebar connection in prestressed systems, effectively transmitting rebar tension and ensuring the stability and safety of overall support and tensioning structures.
Equal Tensile Strength & Stable Load Capacity
Subjected to overall quenching & tempering heat treatment, its tensile strength matches the base metal of supporting precision rolled rebar. The joint strength after connection is no less than that of the rebar body, meeting the national standard force requirements for prestressed projects and eliminating hidden dangers of joint fracture and slippage.
Easy Installation & High Construction Efficiency
No welding machines or thread rolling machines are needed. One worker can complete the connection by screwing two pieces of precision rolled rebar into both ends of the sleeve, greatly shortening the rebar connection time on site and suitable for infrastructure projects with tight construction schedules.
Integral Forging & Stable Structure
The blank adopts integral forging technology without splicing welds. The internal threads are uniform and smooth without stress concentration, so it is not easy to crack or deform under long-term high-load working conditions.
Corrosion Resistance & Suitable for Outdoor Construction Sites
Treated with black oxide anti-rust surface to isolate erosion from rainwater, mud and saline alkali. It resists rust and thread slippage during long-term use in open-air tunnels, mountain slopes and water-adjacent bridges.
Complete Specifications & Sufficient Spot Goods
Full series of standard models including φ16/18/20/22/25/28/32/36/40 are always in stock. Standard specifications can be delivered on the same day, supporting mass orders for engineering projects.
Compliant Quality Inspection & Smooth Project Acceptance
Mechanical test reports are provided for each batch of products, with all indicators complying with prestressed rebar connection specifications. It can smoothly pass supervision acceptance for key projects such as bridges, expressways and subways.

This product adopts solid alloy steel blank integrally forged into a sleeve body with uniform wall thickness, free of casting defects such as sand holes and air pores. The interior is machined with standard precision trapezoidal internal threads featuring deep tooth profiles and sufficient engagement area for excellent locking effect, preventing thread disengagement and slippage during tensioning operations. Both ends of the sleeve are precisely turned to form smooth and flat end faces. Rebars fit tightly after screwing in, bearing force evenly without eccentric load to avoid local stress damage. The coaxiality of internal threads at both ends is precise, keeping rebars in a straight line after connection and eliminating lateral torque during tensioning to better protect the rebar base material. The overall surface undergoes high-temperature black oxide treatment to form a dense anti-rust oxide layer, which can effectively resist erosion from construction site mud and humid environments and extend the service life of the product.

Can the finished rolled coupler achieve the same strength as the rebar after connection?
Qualified quenched & tempered finished rolled couplers are made of high-strength alloy steel matching the rebar. Their mechanical properties are consistent with the base metal after heat treatment. Under standardized construction, the tensile strength of joints is no less than that of the rebar body, meeting the requirements of equal-strength connection for engineering projects.
Is additional welding reinforcement required during installation?
No. The product transmits force through thread engagement. Welding will damage the heat treatment performance of steel and cause brittle fracture of joints. For standardized construction, simply screw the rebars fully into both ends of the sleeve.
Will it rust and slip when used in humid outdoor construction sites?
The product is treated with black oxide anti-rust treatment before delivery, offering good anti-rust effect for short-term outdoor exposure. For long-term water-adjacent or high-salinity-alkali working conditions, customized galvanized anti-corrosion versions are available on demand.
What is the delivery cycle for orders?
All standard specifications are in stock and can be shipped on the same day after payment. Mass orders of thousands of tons take 3-7 days for production, and non-standard customized products take 7-10 days for delivery.
Can test reports be provided for project acceptance?
Yes. Third-party mechanical property test reports and material certificates can be provided for each batch of products to meet the acceptance document requirements of supervisors and owners.
Can rebars of different diameters share one sleeve?
No. The internal threads of sleeves correspond to rebar diameters one-to-one. φ25 couplers only fit φ25 precision rolled rebars. Mixing sizes will lead to insufficient engagement and risk of fracture during tensioning.
